Ensure there are even gaps at the top and bottom between the faceplate and the stem body. Tighten each bolt in a cross pattern, gradually increasing the tension, and tighten to 6Nm.

Which way you want the front end to go. The Riser angles up at 7°, which lifts the bar and takes load off your hands and lower back — the choice if you ride long days or find your current position too stretched. The Stryge Drop angles down at -5° for a lower, more planted front end. The Riser comes in 60, 70 and 80mm at 150 to 160g and 31.8mm only; the Drop runs 55 to 100mm and comes in 35mm as well. Both share the 40mm stack height, so the difference you feel is the angle, not the height of the clamp.
