Replacement Clip Mechanism

The sprung mechanism inside the pedal that grips the cleat — the pedal side of the clip-in system. It fits the whole Funn clip-in range: Mamba, Mamba S, Ripper, Ripper2, Tactic and Clast. What it is not is the cleat that bolts to your shoe; if that is the part you need, take the Pedal Cleat Replacement Kit instead. The two wear as a pair, so it is worth being clear which end of the system has actually gone.

Cleats first, almost always. They are the cheaper part and they wear faster, especially if you walk around in your shoes, so a clip-in that has started feeling vague is usually a cleat problem rather than a pedal one. If fresh cleats do not bring back a clean click in and a definite snap out, the mechanism has worn as well and this is the part you need.
