Mamba Clip-In Pedals

Installing all the pins is not necessary. You may find that cleats engage more easily with fewer or even no pins. We encourage you to experiment with various pin configurations to find the setup that best suits your riding needs.

The Mamba pedals are equipped with a single bushing on the inner side and a 686 cartridge bearing (6mm x 13mm x 5mm) on the outer side.

There isn't a fixed schedule for regreasing through the GRS port. We recommend adding grease whenever you notice increased resistance during pedal operation. Please keep in mind that using the GRS port for regreasing is intended as a temporary solution. For optimal performance and longevity of your pedals, we advise a full service every six months.

Light bicycle greases from Finishline, Muc-off, or Parktools are suitable. Apply the grease using a syringe for best results.

To keep your pedals in top shape, we provide Clip mechanism replacement kit, Axle Replacement Kits and Pedal Pin Kits as available spare parts.

For guidance on both removing and replacing the axles, please refer to our service manual. The necessary special tools for this procedure are included in our axle replacement kit.

Double-sided puts a mechanism on both faces, so you can stamp down and clip in without looking — the choice if you are always clipped in, at 500g a pair. Single-sided keeps one true flat face with eleven pins, so the same bike works in normal shoes for town or park laps, and it is lighter at 450g. Both share the same platform, the same tension adjustment, and both come with cleats in the box.
