Funn Zippa DH Bash Guard Replacement Kit

If the bash on your bike is the Zippa Lite Bash Guard, its spare is the Zippa Spare Bash, which is a different part. Both products read as "a spare bash for a Zippa", so check which guide is actually fitted rather than picking the name that looks closest.

On the Zippa DH the bash plate sits below the chainring and takes the rock strikes that would otherwise land on your teeth, so a chewed plate is the guide working rather than failing. Replace it when material loss has gone far enough that impacts are reaching past it, or when a section has broken away and left the chainring exposed where you actually hit things.

The bash plate, the top guide, the AL7075 pulley and the hardware are individually replaceable, which is what lets a Zippa DH last through seasons of bike park instead of becoming disposable. Worth checking the bolts after any hard impact as well — a hit big enough to mark the bash plate is big enough to have loosened something behind it.
