It goes by pedal, not by measurement — you do not need to measure anything. The 12mm tool covers the Funndamental, Taipan, Taipan S, Mamba, Mamba S and Black Magic. The 10mm tool covers the Ripper2 and Tactic. Those are the two bushing sizes Funn uses, so find your pedal in one of those two lists and that is your answer.

People do, and it is how bushings get ruined. A bushing has to go in square and it has to be supported on exactly the right diameter — press on the wrong shoulder and you either deform the bushing or swage the alloy around it, and then the axle runs rough no matter how good the new part was. This tool is machined to the bushing's own dimensions, so it pushes on the right face and stays aligned on its own. It also pulls the old one out, which is the half of the job a socket cannot help with at all.

Just the bushing — that is the plain bearing at the inboard end of the axle, and it is usually what has gone if the pedal has developed play or a gritty feel. The tool does not include any parts; it is what you use to fit them. If the axle itself is bent or the cartridge bearing is the problem, that is a different job and the Pedal Axle Replacement Kit is what you want instead.

Hold the crank still and try to rock the pedal body up and down on the axle. A little drag is fine; a distinct knock or side-to-side play is the bushing. Spin the body as well — if it feels gritty rather than smooth, that is usually the bearing end rather than the bushing. Worth checking both before you order, because the two ends fail differently and take different parts.
